Atty Carlos del Razo Ochoa has over 10 years of experience in counselling developments and infrastructure projects across highly regulated sectors, such as power generation, O&G, port sector, touristic, mining and maquila. He provides legal representation during inspection and sanctioning processes undertaken by the Environmental authority, as well as regulatory due diligence. Carlos also designs and executes litigation strategies, whether judicial or administrative linked to environmental and energy regulation.
Carlos is the National representative of AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) for Mexico, secretary of the Board of the AMIA (Environmental Impact Assessment Mexican Academy), advisor of the Centre for Sustainable Development Public Policies, devoted to the design and proposal of Environmental standards, and lecturer of the Energy Law Degree of the UNAM Faculty of Law, leading the modules “Legal principles of carbon reduction” and “Energy Transition”.
