LOGICS AND LOGISTICS
For the finalists, the challenges of the 4cLegal Legal Academy are far from over: today they will face the fifth day of trials on a subject that is still uncharted territory. The morning training, curated by Lawyer Michele Borlasca (Senior Partner at Studio Legale Associato Zunarelli), an expert in insurance and transport law, is about logistics. More specifically, about logistics contracts in the COVID era. This is the object of his trial: the young jurists will have a hard time trying to single out a very dangerous clause. Only the one who will have performed best will obtain an advantage to use in the second trial, with the firm STEF Italia. Lawyer Paolo Bardelli (Director of the legal and insurance office of the French multinational corp) awaits the finalists, and proposes them a challenge in two steps. The case is about a sustainability measure that STEF offers to its employees – that is, active participation in the firm’s capital through the acquisition of shares. In the first part, the kids will need to put their technical-juridical knowledge in practice, understanding whether the offer presented must be given publicity in a document, and (if so) on the base of which norm. In the second parti, they will be act as true “communicators” and send a message to all the firm’s employees in order to anticipate, in clear terms, what will be required to join the shareholding plan. Who will manage to bring together knowledge and communication?
