HOW DOES IT WORK?

After registering at panel.4clegal.com, each Firm can select –from a list of ESG-relevant items– the items it believes it meets by describing the policies and behaviors actually adopted, and attaching, if necessary, appropriate supporting documentation.

To be considered true and authentic, such self-declarations have to be confirmed -via an automatic procedure managed by the platform- by specific stakeholders, individuals who, because of their relationship with the firm, are in such a position that they can confirm the actual implementation of the self-declared policies and behaviors. Once the stakeholders have confirmed the declaration truthfulness and authenticity and 4cLegal has successfully carried out the relevant checks, the self-declaration is to all intents and purposes ‘validated’. The validated sustainability self-declarations will be represented in the form of Sustainability Accreditation ‘diplomas’, valid for one year. The Firm will use them freely in its communication activities and will commit to inform 4cLegal of any significant changes.

WHAT IS IT?

4cLegal Enterprise is a software designed to allow national and international big corporations to organize their legal procurement processes in a way that is simple, efficient and transparent. It also allows them to highlight the professionals’ real skills, thanks to a fully sustainable system of governance. In detail, via our platform, companies can select professionals in the following sectors:

• legal and tax services;
• corporate secretarial services;
• IP services;
• auditing activities;
• creation of audit bodies (board of statutory auditors);

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Via 4cLegal Enterprise, the company describes the mandate or the access conditions to its panel of accredited fiduciaries, then invites firms to present their offer or apply for the panel. Each firm sends their offer, highlighting their experiences, skills, possible sustainability policies, and finally economic requirements. The company compares each offer and eventually assigns the mandate or accredits the best firms in its panel of fiduciaries.

4cLegal Enterprise has various functions and advantages. It allows companies to:

WHAT IS IT?

ESG Accreditation Supply Chain is the natural evolution of the well-known Legal Procurement Suite: the latter gathers and objectively represents a professional’s set of characteristics, experiences and skills so that the company can choose rationally and efficiently based on its scope of work; ESG Accreditation Supply Chain allows the company to check if its providers of legal services fulfill those ESG parameters that are crucial to ensure a sustainable supply chain.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

4cLegal and the client share the ESG parameters (items) that professional firms are invited to highlight in their offer. Those items will be verified and attested by 4cLegal. The firms will be invited to access a platform specifically designed for that purpose by 4cLegal and to select the ESG items they think they meet, by describing the policies they apply and attaching relevant documents. 4cLegal will then carry out inspection activities on the self-declarations of each firm and activate a confirmation procedure involving relevant stakeholders. If the item is confirmed by stakeholders and positively assessed by 4cLegal, it will be considered validated and the accreditation will be reported on the proper report delivered to the client.
